During his two-day work timetable in Davos, the Deputy PM completed a busy schedule including 10 bilateral meetings, an interview with the Reuters and participation in a number of crucial discussions in the framework of the WEF Davos 2015.

Especially, he and other Vietnamese officials had a particular direct dialogue with more than 30 leaders from top corporations with desires to invest in Viet Nam.

At bilateral meetings, Viet Nam’s developments and advances in realizing long-term goals such as economic restructuring, growth model transition, administrative reform and three strategic breakthroughs were briefed.

Foreign top businessmen highly valued the potentials of Viet Nam’s market, citing the Government’s efforts in economic management and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations.

They suggested the Government facilitate foreign investors' launch of long-term operation and investment in Viet Nam.

At the dialogue between Viet Nam and leaders of international corporations, WEF Managing Director Philipp Rösler referred to a survey which shows Viet Nam is regarded as one of most attractive investment destinations in Southeast Asia.

Viet Nam’s participation in the WEF as a speaker helped the international community comprehend the nation’s achievements and viewpoints on international and regional issues such as the East Sea issue and the establishment of an ASEAN Community.
