VN calls for Japan’s more support for priority industries development

VGP - PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc called for more support from Japan to boost the development of priority industries as enshrined in the Viet Nam-Japan cooperation framework, at reception for Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Seko Hiroshige in Ha Noi on Thursday.

The Government chief also expects Japan to enhance support for Viet Nam’s regional and international economic integration, especially its technical assistance to free trade agreements enforcement, and boost facilitate import of fresh fruits, including litchi and longan as agreed by both sides.

He took the occasion to reaffirmed the Vietnamese Government’s consistent stance to back and create favorable for Japanese investors to du business in Viet Nam.

The Viet Nam-Japan relations are advancing strongly, noted Minister Seko Hiroshige, adding that Japan also wishes to share experiences in SOEs reform.

Hiroshige said the two industry ministries will establish a working group to boost bilateral energy cooperation./.
