VN attends ASEAN-EU Senior Officials Meeting
VGP - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Dung and a delegation of Vietnamese official attended the 24th Senior Officials Meeting of ASEAN and the European Union (EU) which began on July 5 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The event aimed to bolster ASEAN – EU cooperation, as well as celebrate the 40th anniversary of ASEAN – EU Dialogue Relations, with Thailand being the current coordinator.
Participants evaluated
The meeting looks to help ASEAN and the EU to step up cooperation in trade, sustainable development, climate change, people-to-people exchange and security.
In addition, delegates discussed preparations for the ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference (PMC) with the EU in Manila next month and activities to mark the 40th anniversary of ASEAN – EU Dialogue Relations.
