VN always welcomes Japanese investors, said President Nguyễn Minh Triết

VNGOVNet – State President received on March 12 in Hanoi a delegation of Japan's International Friendship Exchange Council (FEC) headed by Mr. Muto Takayoshi during their working visit to Vietnam.

Over the past years, Vietnam-Japan relationship has been continuously solidified through senior visits and delegations exchanged between various agencies, organizations and associations of the two countries, becoming a strategic partnership which has been significantly contributed to the development and prosperity in the region and the world.

President Nguyễn Minh Triết stressed: "Vietnam warmly welcomes Japanese businesses who have been done and will do investment Vietnam. The Vietnamese State and Government are trying to create a better investment environment and design more open legal documents to attract foreign investors, especially those from Japan". He expressed his wish that Japanese investment will focus on the development of Vietnam’s communication network, especially the North-South highway and express railway.

Mr. Muto Takayoshi, President of the FEC's Committee for Japan-Viet Nam Cultural-Economic Exchange, showed his admiration to and lauded Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements and cultural traditions. He was convinced that Vietnam will become a powerful and prosperous country. Mr. Muto Takayoshi confirmed that the FEC will cement its good relations with Vietnam, contributing to the promoted bilateral relationship between the two countries.
