The Vietnamese side stated that the two countries should develop the bilateral ties in a stable way commensurate to the Việt Nam-US Joint Declarations in May 2005 and November 2006 between high-ranking leaders for the sake of the two peoples as well as for peace, stability and cooperation in the region.
