Meeting with Lord Mayor of the City of London Fiona Woolf, Deputy PM Ninh said that Viet Nam hopes to learn from the City of London to develop the financial system in a transparent manner and mobilize resources particularly via the PPP model.

For her part, Ms. Fiona Woolf also wanted to share experience and boost cooperation in restructuring the banking system.

The relationship between Viet Nam and the City of London has florished recently especially following the establishment of strategic partnership between Viet Nam and the UK in 2010.

The same day, Deputy PM Ninh also met with Vice Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank Thomas Harris.

The host leader thanked the Vietnamese Government for supporting the bank to operate effetively in Viet Nam./.
