VN, Sudan beef up ICT cooperation

VGP – The Vietnamese Government supports information communication and technology (ICT) cooperation between Vietnam and Sudan, particularly in the fields of experience exchanges and investment, said PM Nguyen Tan Dung.

The Government chief made the point on May 30 in Hanoi during a reception for Sudanese Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohamed Abdelkreem Abdalla Alhad who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

The host leader lauded the recent talks between the guest and his Vietnamese counterpart, saying that the bilateral ties have been flourishing in numerous aspects and benefited respective people.

Vietnam attaches importance to enhancing cooperation with African countries, including Sudan for mutual benefits.

For his part, Minister Mohamed Abdelkreem Abdalla Alhad said that he was impressed by Vietnam’s comprehensive developments, especially in ICT field.

Sudan expects to expand linkages with Vietnam in the area and pledges to open doors for Vietnamese investors, Sudanese Minister said.

Sudan also hoped to strengthen the bilateral ties in other fields like agriculture, energy and petrol./.
