VN, Slovakia business ties promising
VGP - Many enterprises of Việt Nam and Slovakia are meeting each other directly and this is a good opportunity for them to strengthen trade relations, Mr. Peter Svitek, Slovakian Ambassador to Việt Nam, said at the Việt Nam-Slovakia business meeting on October 26 in Hà Nội.

Việt Nam’s position in Southeast Asia in particular and Asia in general is very important, and Slovakia has recently seen economic improvements, he said at the meeting held by the Việt Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in coordination with the Slovak Embassy.
At the meeting, many Slovak enterprises expressed their desire to cooperate with Vietnamese firms operating in the fields of heavy industries, wind power plants, construction, water supply and engineering.
Last year, the two-way trade value between Việt Nam and Slovakia reached US $179.2 million, in which Việt Nam earned US $109.8 million by exporting its electronic products, footwear, garments and textiles to the European country.
