VN, Russia vow to accelerate strategic projects
VGP – Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh on Tuesday spoke highly of the bilateral cooperation between Viet Nam and Russia in various fields like politics-diplomacy, economy, trade, security- defense and people-to-people exchanges, during his reception for Russian First Deputy FM V. Titov.

Deputy PM, FM Minh affirmed that the maintenance of the two foreign ministries’ political consultation has significantly contributed to beefing up joint cooperative programs.
He suggested that the two foreign ministries coordinate closely with relevant ministries and agencies to prepare well for high-level visits and realize strategic projects in trade, oil and gas, nuclear power, and military cooperation, in 2015 to mark the 65th anniversary of the diplomatic ties.
First Deputy FM V. Titov stressed that Russian leaders always attaches importance to the comprehensive strategic partnership with Viet Nam.
Earlier, Deputy FM Ho Xuan Son and the Russian Deputy FM co-chaired the two foreign ministries’ annual political consultation during which both sides agreed on measures to implement the inked agreements and activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
The two Deputy FMs also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern and pledged to continue close coordination on the global arena, especially in the changing regional and international background./.
