VN, RoK gov’t agencies shake hands to start cooperation project
VGP – Minister, Chairman of the Office of Government (OOG) Nguyễn Xuân Phúc today hosted a reception to Permanent Deputy Minister Kang Byung Kyu of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security (MPAS) of the Republic of Korea (RoK) who is on a working visit to Việt Nam for the launching ceremony of the Government Information Data Center (GIDC) here.

Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc informed the guest that the Government of Việt Nam and the OOG are drastically putting into reality the Memorandum of Understanding inked by the OOG and the MPAS in Seoul on May 29, 2009 on bilateral cooperation in building the GIDC in Việt Nam.
A project preparing committee was founded by OOG to accelerate the cooperation, said Minister Phúc, adding that the Vietnamese side is completing all necessary preparations for the project.

Aknowledge the importance of the project for Việt Nam’s socio-economic development and e-government building, Minister Phúc expected to see greater supports from the RoK.
MPAS Deputy Minister Kang Byung Kyu highly spoked of the Vietnamese side’s determination and suggested Việt Nam pay attention to training cadres to manage and operate the center.
