VN National University–HCM City among top 66% of most prestigious universities

VGP – Viet Nam National University – Ho Chi Minh City has been ranked among top 66% of the most prestigious universities in the world, according to the QS World University Ranking 2020.

Viet Nam National University – Ho Chi Minh City ranked among top 701-750 while Viet Nam National University –Ha Noi was listed in the top 801-1000.

This is the second year Viet Nam National University – Ho Chi Minh City in the list.

The QS World University Ranking 2020 features 1,000 of the most prestigious universities in the world, ranked based on a methodology which assesses each institution on six metrics, including its reputation amongst academics and employers.

QS ranked 1000 universities from 82 different locations, surveyed 94,000 academics and 44,000 hiring managers and analyzed 11.8 million research papers and 100 million citations. Universities are measured on academic standing, graduate employability, student/staff ratio, research impact, and internationalization.

The QS World University Ranking was established in 2004. This is the 16^th successive year the ranking has been announced.
