The State President made that statement at his reception for Secretary of the National Security Council of Mongolia Amarjargal  Gansukh in Ha Noi on April 2.

At the meeting, the State President hailed the nations’ cooperation in defense-security cooperation, especially defense industry, logistics and military medicines and acceleration of negotiations on an agreement on the transfer of sentenced persons and an agreement on mutual protection and exchange of information.

He highlighted the two sides’ maintenance of political consultations at deputy ministerial and department levels of the two foreign ministries and their sharing of information and experience relating to cooperation with other countries.

He hoped that Mongolia will facilitate Viet Nam to enhance exporting agricultural products, processed food, machines and equipments to Mongolia while Mongolia may export meat, textile and garment materials, minerals, and footwear to Viet Nam.

Regarding the international and regional aspects, the State leader suggested the two countries continue exchanging and coordinating at multi-lateral forums such as the United Nations, ASEM and ARF, asserting that Viet Nam is willing to assist Mongolia in connecting with ASEAN nations.

Mr. Amarjargal Gansukh briefed State President Quang on the outcomes of his talks with Minister of Public Security To Lam, affirming that Mongolia expects to enhance cooperation with Viet Nam in fields of national security.

Mongolia hopes to boost its economic and trade ties with Viet Nam to bring the bilateral ties to a new height, he said.

The occasion, he conveyed the invitation to visit Mongolia from President Khaltmaa Battulga. State President Quang accepted the invitation and invited President Khaltmaa Battulga to pay an official visit to Viet Nam.
