October 16, 2014 3:05 PM GMT+7

The events attracted representatives from 25 Vietnamese enterprises, agriculture and seafood processing firms as well as more than 120 partners in Osaka and over 100 others in Kobe.

During the event, some Japanese businesses expressed their hope for more assistance from Vietnamese authorities in setting up and expanding operations in the country.

Japanese investors spoke highly of Viet Nam’s foreign investment attraction policies and efforts in improving investment environment, and affirmed they are keen on cooperating with Vietnamese partners and expanding their operation in the country, especially in support, processing and manufacturing industries.

They expressed their hope that the Government and local authorities will create a niche for them to operate effectively in Viet Nam, thus bolstering bilateral economic ties.

Kansai region, including Osaka and Kobe cities, is Japan’s second largest economic, financial and high-tech hub. The region is home to numerous businesses of different sizes and types, including small, medium and large companies, as well as high-level technological expertise.
