The PM said that Vietnam wishes to deepen its cooperation with Japan in information technology and telecommunication, adding that the Vietnamese Government will create any favorable condition for Japanese IT corporations to do business in Vietnam. He said Vietnam is working to set up IT joint-stock companies in the public sector and Japan is encouraged and given priority to become a strategic shareholder in this field, especially at Vietnam’s hi-tech parks.

The PM said Vietnam has made IT-telecommunication development a top priority, informing the guest that the Vietnamese public is jubilant when the Vietnam-Japan relationship has been promoted to a strategic partnership. The PM was convinced that Mr. Yoshihide Suga’s working visit to Vietnam will help promote this partnership, especially in IT.
