VN, Japan beef up strategic partnership

Both Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh and Minister Yamamoto Ichita agreed to fruitfully implement the agreements reached during PM Nguyen Tan Dung's recent visit to Japan.The host leader proposed the two sides strengthen linkages in science-technology, human resource training, and the implementation of the Industrialization Strategy for the period until 2020 within the cooperative framework between Viet Nam Japan.
For his part, Minister Yamamoto Ichita affirmed that Japan always respects the strategic partnership with Viet Nam and commits to standing side by side with the Southeast Asian nation during its cause of industrialization and modernization.
The two sides took the occasion to talk international and regional issue of common concern.
They also agreed to work together for peace, stability and development in the region and the world at large./.
