The launch ceremony of the Viet Nam Innovation Golden Book 2018 was organized by the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, the Viet Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations, and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The book encompasses scientific and technological creativity works of authors or groups of authors who have been prize winners at the contests hosted by ministries, sectors, Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) member organizations and centrally-run provinces and cities since 2016.

Addressing the launch ceremony, President Tran Dai Quang said the 4th industrial revolution will affect Vietnam. He added: “I call on ministries, sectors, localities, organizations, and businesses to continue developing human resources in science and technology, nurture and reward young talents who will make great contributions to Viet Nam’s scientific and technological development. A favorable working environment should be created for scientists to develop their talents and receive earnings that match their innovative work. Freedom of research and creativity should be respected.”
