VN, Cuba sign MoU on IT cooperation

VNGOVNet – Vietnamese Minister of Post and Telematics Đỗ Trung Tá had a working session in the morning of April 02 in Hanoi with Cuban Minister of Informatics and Communications Ramiro Valdés Menendéz to boost and cement the Vietnam-Cuba cooperation in information technology and telecommunication.

The two ministers signed a memorandum of understanding. Accordingly, in the time to come, the two ministries will set up cooperation programs to share experience in social computerization, IT service popularization in remote areas, information safety and network security, electronic industry, and technological solution development.

The two sides will also encourage and provide good conditions for Vietnamese and Cuban businesses to collaborate in designing projects on services provision, electronic devices manufacture, and software development.

It was reported that, right after the signing ceremony, Vietnam and Cuba will cooperate to make computers and energy-saving monitors.
