The host leader asserted that the Vietnamese Government always backs military cooperation between the two countries at all levels.

He said he hopes that the two armies would strengthen linkages in training forces, conduct joint marine patrols and coordinate stances at regional forums, especially ADMM , in favor of peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world at large.

PM Dung took the occasion to seek the neighbouring country’s support for the search and repatriation of the remains of fallen Vietnamese volunteer soldiers in Cambodia.

General Neang Phat said that via the visit he hopes to cement and deepen military ties between the two sides particularly in training and developing military forces./.
