VN, Cambodia accelerate border landmark planting
VNGOP - The third-round session of the Việt Nam-Cambodia Joint Subcommittee for Land Border Demarcation and Landmark Planting was held in Phnom Penh from October 22-27.

The two sides obtained agreement on over 50 positions on the map for planting landmarks along the borderline. They also discussed some principles to locate on-the-site landmark positions. These principles will be the specific technical and legal foundation for the performance of border demarcation teams.
The two sides agreed to deal with some issues arisen during the on-the-field border demarcation over the past time and approved the roadmap to continue and finish this work before the end of 2008.
