VN, Azerbaijan discuss ways for stronger cooperation

Mr. Son glowingly spoke of both nations’ close and effective coordination and mutual support on the international arena, especially within the framework of the UN, contributing to consolidating mutual trust and understanding.
Both sides should pay greater attention to promoting collaboration in fields of their strength through such mechanisms as the Viet Nam – Azerbaijan Inter-Governmental Committee on Economic-Trade and Scientific-Technological Cooperation while boosting links in education-training and science-technology, he told his guest.
He also applauded the operation of the HeydarAliyev Foundation while affirming Viet Nam's willingness to cooperate with Azerbaijan in exchanging information and experience, undertaking joint scientific and technological research projects, and holding exhibitions on science-technology achievements and cultural days in each country.
In turn, Mr. Anar Alakbarov praised Viet Nam’s successes in socio-economic development and international integration and affirmed that the Azerbaijani government desires to further enhance cooperation with Viet Nam.
He said he hopes that Viet Nam will provide more conditions for his foundation to become involved in projects on culture and education and pledged great efforts to implement the projects.
