VN Airlines launches Da Nang – Busan air route

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Nguyen Vu Tu hailed efforts make by VietnNam Airlines to open the new air route to Busan – the second largest city of the RoK, helping meet the increasing travel demand and boost economic and trade relations between Viet Nam and the RoK.

The flights are scheduled to take off at 0.20 am from DaNang International Airport and at 7:30 am from Busan’sGimhae International Airport on Tuesdays, and at 0.50 am from Da Nang International Airport and 8.00 am from Gimhae International Airport on Saturdays.

Viet Nam Airlines uses Airbus A321 with four-star international standard for the flights, which are hoped to bring more RoK visitors to Viet Nam, and vice versa.

This is the third route between two countries run by Viet Nam Airlines, following those connecting Busan and Viet Nam’s major cities of Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City. It is also the seventh route between the two countries.

The new route also aims to satisfy the growing travel demand between the two countries, as well as to bring even more Korean visitors to such Vietnamese popular destinations as Hue City and Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City.
