VITM 2018 focuses on online travel
VGP - The sixth Viet Nam International Travel Mart (VITM 2018) will focus on the main theme “Online Travel” with a view to promoting IT application to tourism business.
The Viet Nam Tourism Association (VTA), the organizer of VITM 2018 will work with the Viet Nam E-commerce Association to build a fair for online travel enterprises.
In addition, the VTA will organize a seminar on e-commerce development in tourism with the participation of both domestic and foreign experts on online travel.
Via the fair, the organizer expected that tourism will become one of the fastest leading sector in the digital era.
Following the success of VITM 2017, an international street food festival will be held as well, offering visitors with signature street food of Viet Nam and other countries.
Over 40,000 low-budgetary air tickets and 15,000 discounted package tours will be on offer at the fair.
So far, VITM 2018 has drawn the participation of businesses and tourism promotion agencies from 45 domestic provinces and cities and 21 foreign countries and territories.
The event will consist of 500 booths with over 679 tourism enterprises.
VITM 2018 will take place at No. 91 Tran Hung Dao Street from March 29 to April 1./.
