VGP - National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan will lead a high-ranking delegation to make an official visit to China from July 8-12, said Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang.

The visit is made at the invitation of Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Li Zhanshu.

The visit aims to continue consolidating and promoting the Viet Nam-China traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, especially in the areas of politics, econmy, security, defense, education and legislative cooperation.

During the visit, Ngan will hold talks with Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Li Zhanshu, meet with Chinese senior leaders, attend Vietnamese Cultural Days in China and visit Jiangsu Province.

* Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh is on an official visit to Cuba from July 7-11 at the invitation of First Vice President of Cuba Salvador Valdes Mesa.

The bilateral relationship has been positively accelerated in all fields thanks to regular exchange of delegations at all levels, including Vietnamese Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong’s visit to Cuba in March 2018.

During her visit, Thinh will hold talks with  First Vice President of Cuba Salvador Valdes Mesa and meet Cuban senior leaders.

*Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung will pay working visits to the United Arab Emirates and Tanzania from July 6-13 at the invitations of the Governments of the UAE and Tanzania.

The visits are expected to help boost the traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation with the UAE and Tanzania, especially in trade and investment areas.

During his visit to the UAE (from July 6-9), Deputy PM Dung will hold talks with UAE counterpart, meet UAE’s high-ranking leaders and work with some UAE’s ministries, agencies and businesses.

Meanwhile during his visit to Tanzania (from July 10-13), Deputy PM Dung will meet with Tanzanian PM and other senior leaders and work with some Tanzanian ministries and agencies./.
