Unemployment Insurance Agency founded
VGP – The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) has just decided to establish an Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA).

The agency is assigned to map out plans and organize activities relating to unemployment insurance, supervise and make reports on the enforcement of unemployment insurance policies.
It is also responsible for allocating and examining budget portions to the MOLISA’s affiliated units.
Regulations on unemployment insurance were first written in the Government’s Decree 127/2008/NĐ-CP which took effect since January 1, 2009.
The implementation of the Decree over the past nine months required the establishment of the UIA.
