The Republic of Korea’s Samsung Electronics on May 19 officially started the construction of the SEHC in Saigon High-Tech Park in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Vietnamese Government expected that Samsung Electronics will help Viet Nam develop the auxiliary industry and produce advanced and modern projects in electronics and household appliances, revealed Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan.

The Samsung Electronics will realize commitments with Ho Chi Minh City, not only in economic criteria and business responsibilities for society and environment, he expressed.

Currently, Samsung Electronics is the largest foreign investor in Viet Nam with US$11.2 billion. The investment is expected to reach US$20 billion in the future.
