US welcomes VN’s partners in tertiary education and vocational training

USAID and Việt Nam’s partners can launch a middle or long term initiative of tertiary education and vocational training, which aims at promoting quality and appropriateness of training activities for disadvantaged youth in Việt Nam.

The initiative also targets to improve ability of Việt Nam’s universities in order to establish public-private partnerships, provide high-quality training courses of international standards in essential technological branches, enhance Vietnamese students’ academic independence and flexibility to use soft skills in all fields.
In addition, research and data collection for Việt Nam to serve labor force development, especially for disadvantaged youngsters, will be promoted.
