US navy ship repaired in VN

This is the first US ship to be repaired and maintained in Việt Nam since the US war ended here in 1975.
The 145-crew ship, member of the US Pacific Fleet, is measured 210m in length and 32.3m in width.
Vinashin group offers a wide variety of new building choices from bulk carriers, container ships oil tankers, car carriers to other custom-made ships.
The Group’s new orders received between 2002 and 2007 grew at a total annual growth rate of 160%. Up to December 2007, the total value of all contracts signed by the Group with its partners was up approximately US $12 billion.
A number of multi-purpose cargo ships, for clients in Japan, Republic of Korea, Great Britain, and Denmark, are being built in various ship-building yards of Vinashin.
The Group is continuing the plan of building new-model ships with higher complexity to be exported to Israel and Norway.
