U.S. helps develop national reference medical laboratory in VN

Accordingly, the two sides will set up a joint framework on cooperation in joint projects on medical tests with the aim of developing a national reference medical laboratory for public health system in Viet Nam.

They consented to establish cooperative projects in medical tests, including using new technology, organization of meetings and conferences, sharing information and exchanging human resources.

Both sides planned to set  up a long-term project, identifying specific cooperative activities in areas of mutual concerns.

The MoU will be valid within five years and will be extended based on the two sides’ agreement.

On the day, the third emergency operations center (EOC) for the Southern region made debut in the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City.
