US and Canadian groups welcomed in VN

VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng reaffirmed so in May 09 while receiving some US and Canadian groups who are seeking for chances to invest in Vietnam.

The delegation included the representatives of 13 US and Canadian groups and big companies engaging in telecommunication, construction of roads, bridges, hotels, resorts, financial services, electronic banking, namely InfoUSA, Casjesco Inc,  BetUS, Binion Group,  MHLV Investment & Consuling Corp. These enterprises want to do business and investment in Vietnam in general and the Hòa Lạc Hi-tech Park in particular.

After briefing Vietnam's sustainable economic development in the past two decades and last year, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng highlighted the country's potentialities, including political stability and a powerful young labor force.

The PM said that the Vietnamese Government always encourages US and Canadian groups to invest in all fields suitable to Vietnam's socio-economic development strategies, plans and schemes.

The host suggested the US and Canadian businesses to work with Vietnamese ministries, sectors, and local authorities. He confirmed that the Government and local authorities will provid best conditions for all investors.

The guests all considered Vietnam an investment attraction. On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Ilario Modafferi, Chief Executive of Casjesco Inc (Canada), emphasized that the US and Canadian groups and companies will realize their investment projects in Vietnam soon.
