Two patients cleared of COVID-19 in Da Nang

VGP – Da Nang has reported that two recovered COVID-19 patients exited the city’s hospitals on August 20.

One of them is a a 26-year old doctor from Thanh Khe district in central Da Nang. He made a full recovery after being infected by the COVID-19 epidemic whilst at work.

The other is a 78-year old female resident of Quang Nam province tested negative for COVID-19 four consecutive times, whilst at present she is not displaying any symptoms of cough, fever, or shortness of breath.

The pair are set to be placed under home isolation over the next 14 days in line with the current COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.

As of 6:10pm on August 20, a total of 1007 COVID-19 infections have been recorded nationwide, of whom 542 have recovered and 25 others died of the virus and other diseases./
