Twelve more patients in Quang Nam, Da Nang cleared of Covid-19, total recovered patients rise to 421

VGP – Two Covid-19 patients in Quang Nam Province and 10 patients in Da Nang City were declared clear of the virus on August 13, bringing the total number of recoveries in Viet Nam to 421, making up 47.7%.

The first two Covid-19 patients declared free of Covid-19 and discharged from hospital this morning in Quang Nam Province.

In Quang Nam, patients 716 and 719 were discharged from the Quang Nam Central General Hospital.

Both of them were hospitalized on August 8. 

Recovered Covid-19 patients exit Hoa Vang Medical Facility in Da Nang.

Meanwhile, in Da Nang, patients numbered 466, 469, 495, 555, 581, 638, 682, 685, 665 and 730 exited Hoa Vang Medical Facility.

These patients are aged from 1-66, eight of whom are residents in Da Nang City and two are from Quang Nam Province. 

All these patients will be isolated and medically monitored in the next 14 days. 

Among other active Covid-19 patients who are being treated at 24 hospitals nationwide, 15 are in critical condition with chronic diseases such as multi-organ failure, end-stage chronic renal failure, heart failure, high blood pressure and septic shock.

As of early August 13, Viet Nam confirmed 883 Covid-19 infection cases, including 18 fatalities./.
