Travel companies using foreign tour guides subject to fines
VGP – Travel agencies employing foreign tour guides in Viet Nam will be subject to a fine of VND 80-90 million.

In addition, Decree 45 regulates that travel agencies will be subjected to a fine of VND 30-40 million if they don’t employ tour guides for tourism purposes. They will be fired VND 40-50 million for employing tour guides who introduce distorted information on history, culture, and national sovereignty.
Travel agencies will be fired VND 50-60 million if they use tour guides who do not have tour guide cards.
Decree 45 also stipulates that tour guilds will be fired VND 200,000-500,000 if they do not wear tour guide cards while operating./.
