Deputy PM Nhân made the remark during his talks with Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai on May 10.

The Vietnamese leader took the occasion to congratulate Mr. Taleb Rifai on his recent inauguration and highlighted the importance of the World Tourism Organization in the overall development of the global tourism in general and of Việt Nam in particular.

He urged the organization to commit more marketing supports to the country and to share important long-term development strategies for existing and new domestic tourist products.

Việt Nam is a peaceful nation with a stable political system and friendly people, Mr. Taleb Rifai stressed. The country has many attractive sightseeing destinations while possessing huge tourist potentials.

The World Tourism Organization will help to showcase the country’s images globally, he pledged. The organization will spare no effort to offer various training courses and seminars on how to develop a strong and profitable tourism sector.
