Top legislator arrives in Siem Reap for APPF-27
VGP – National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and a Vietnamese high-ranking delegation landed in Siem Reap International Airport in Cambodia to attend the 27th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF-27) from January 14-16.

The visit is made at the invitation of President of the Cambodian National Assembly Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin who is the Chairman of the APPF-27.
The top legislator and the Vietnamese delegation were welcomed by Secretary-General of the National Assembly Leng Peng Long.
Under the theme “Strengthening parliamentary partnership for peace, security, and sustainable development”, the APPF-27 will focus on safeguarding peace, security and sustainable development.
Through their attendance at the APPF-27, Vietnamese parliamentarians continue performing their proactive involvement in multilateral parliamentary diplomatic activities, thus heightening the country’s role and position at this forum and joining in diplomatic efforts for peace, cooperation and development./.
