Top leader extends condolences over plane crash in Iran

VGP - Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong on January 10 extended condolences to President of Iran Hassan Rouhani, Governor General of Canada Julie Payette, and President of Ukraine V.O. Zelensky over the recent plane crash of a passenger jet operated by the Ukraine International Airlines.

The crashed occurred in Iran on January 8, killing all the 176 passengers, including 82 Iranians, 63 Canadians, and 11 Ukrainians, and the crew members.

The same day, Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang said that: “We are deeply saddened by the serious plane accident of the flight PS752 operated by the Ukraine International Airlines on January 8, 2020. We would like to share the huge loss and send deep sympathy to the Governments, people and families of victims”.
