Third National Press Festival wraps up successfully

VGP – Under the motto “Vietnamese press accompanies the nation in renewal,” the National Press Festival was closed on March 18. The Viet Nam Government Portal (VGP) won A prize for the most impressive booth.

Viet Nam Government Portal (VGP) wins A prize for the most impressive booth

The closing ceremony drew the attendance of State President Tran Dai Quang. 

The event was jointly hosted by the VJA, the Hanoi People’s Committee, the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee’s Information and Education Commission, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The festival received State President Tran Dai Quang, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Communication and Education Commission Vo Van Thuong, Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam, thousands of domestic and foreign guests in three days. 

A highlight at the festival was the four thematic displays - “The press with Party building,” “The press with National Assembly and voters,” “The press with the building of an integrated, development-facilitating and action-oriented Government,” and “Ethics of journalists.”

The festival also featured a forum on the press’s role in Government building, along with numerous exchanges, seminars, photo and painting exhibitions, and art performances. 

On this occasion, the organizing board granted the VGP prize A for its beautiful interface, prize C for a reportage on environment, climate change, and natural disaster prevention./.
