The event aims to enhance the participation of the business community in the national public service portal as well as speed up the effectiveness of building the e-Government and online public service provision to people and enterprises.

It also heads to strengthen the participation and use of online public service among the business community as the COVID-19 pandemic has caused obstacles and difficulties for enterprises and the economy.

Delegates at the teleconference will give comments on how to improve the system and supply service of State administrative agencies on the national public service portal.

The Government Office, the Prime Minister's Advisory Council for Administrative Procedures Reform, the World Bank, the Australian Government, the French Development Agency and other relevant agencies expect to provide information for enterprises and receive recommendations from businesses to effectively operate the national public service portal in the upcoming time.

Since the national public service portal made debut on December 9, 2019, it has more than 140,000 registered accounts, 35 million visits, 7.3 million documents and processed more than 68,000 documents.

It is estimated that as much as VND6,490 billion has been saved thanks to online public services a year, which includes VND3,036 billion from the portal.

According to the report of the Government Office, after six-month operation, the portal has supplied 389 online public services (160 for people and 229 for enterprises) in fields of sales promotion, electricity supply, payment of taxes, charges and fees, electronic tax declaration and payment and tax request extension.

Since May 12, it has supplied six more online public services for people and enterprises suffering consequences of COVID-19.
