Suspected Indonesian engineer confirmed coronavirus free
VGP – The Indonesian citizen and all 145 people with close contact with him have tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, according to the HCMC Pasteur Institute.

He was immediately transferred to the Binh Duong Provincial General Hospital for medical observation.
The local authorities also quarantined a total of 145 people who had close contact with the Indonesian man including 132 colleagues, company leaders, drivers, and workers; seven people at the hotel; two others at a restaurant; and four staff of Family Medical Practice at District 2.
On June 1, the latest RT-PCR tests conducted by the Ho Chi Minh City Pasteur Institute showed the man had not contracted the virus, and he is now in stable condition. All 145 people having close contact with him also received negative tests.
With the Indonesian confirmed negative, Viet Nam has gone through 77 days without new locally transmitted coronavirus infections.
So far, Viet Nam confirmed 335 positive cases, of which 326 cases have been discharged from hospitals. Out of 19 active cases, eight have tested negative for the virus at least once./.
