Congratulating the Canadian Ambassador’s successful working term in Viet Nam, the State President hailed breakthroughs in Viet Nam-Canada relations and the Ambassador’s contributions to the relationship between the two nations.

Viet Nam welcomes Canadian PM Justin Trudeau to Viet Nam to attend the APEC Summit in 2017, he said, adding that Viet Nam is willing to cooperate and advocate Canada to enhance Canada-ASEAN relations more effectively.

The State leader hoped that the Ambassador will make more contribution to accelerating the two nations’ cooperative relations in the future.

Ambassador David Devine supposed that Canadian FM Stephane Dion’s recent visit to Viet Nam has promoted and expanded the two sides’ relations, asserting that Canada commits to closely cooperating with Viet Nam to launch reached agreements.
