State President Truong Tan Sang visit Brunei Shell

VGP - During his state visit to Brunei, State President Truong Tan Sang on November 28 visited oil firm Brunei Shell and attended the Viet Nam-Brunei Business Forum.

State President Truong Tan Sang affirmed that Viet Nam encourages and creates favorable conditions for the Viet Nam National Oil and Gas Group to develop international cooperation ties, especially with foreign partners having advanced technologies like Brunei Shell. The State President welcomed the two sides’ signing of a crude oil sales contract worth US$ 250 million.

At the forum, State President Sang confirmed that Viet Nam always creates favorable conditions for foreign investors, including those from Brunei, to invest and do business in Viet Nam. He also welcomed stronger trade cooperation between Viet Nam and Brunei.

The State President proposed that enterprises of the two countries should actively promote trade and investment, boost exchanges of information about markets.

On the occasion, the State President witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Brunei counterpart.

On the same day, State President Truong Tan Sang visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei.
