Seeking underground water for ethnic minority groups
VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has recently ratified adjustments to the program which targets to find underground water resources for remote mountainous areas.

The program will be conducted in 41 provinces including 15 in the Northern region, five in the North Central Region, seven in the South Central region, four in the Central Highlands region, ten in the Southern region.
It comprises three components including Project 1 on underground water investigation and searching in mountainous and water scarcity areas; Project 2 on scientific, technological, and policy researches on underground water protection and clean water supply in response to mountainous and water scarcity areas; Project 3 on building of water supply systems in mountainous and water scarcity areas.
The program started 2015 and will go through to 2023./.
