VGP - The Union of Vietnamese Students in France (UEVF) will host the second festival for Vietnamese students in Europe in Choisy-le-Roi city, France on August 27-28.

August 10, 2016 4:06 PM GMT+7

The information was released at a press conference on August 8.

Under the theme Lumos “Shine as you are”, the event will attract the participation of five Vietnamese students’ associations from the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Poland as well as 23 student societies from France.

Speaking at the press conference, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Nguyen Ngoc Son highlighted the meaning and goal of the event as facilitating Vietnamese and international students to meet and exchange experience.

It is also a good opportunity to introduce the country, people and culture of Viet Nam to international friends as well as to inspire the patriotism of overseas Vietnamese youngsters, he added.

UEVF Vice President Nguyen Minh Duc said with the theme “Shine as you are,” the festival aims to encourage creativeness among the youths.

Besides intellectual, artistic, music and teamwork activities, the festival will feature a workshop about the East Sea issues.
