SBV to help Laos train financial and banking experts

VGP – The State Bank of Việt Nam will assist the State Bank of Laos in all fields, especially nurturing financial and banking experts.

The State Bank of Việt Nam and the State Bank of Laos sign the memorandum of understanding on technical assistance and cooperation, Hà Nội, December 4, 2009

A memorandum of understanding on technical assistance and cooperation between the two banks was inked in Hà Nội on Friday.

Accordingly, the SBV will continue to dispatch its experienced experts to Laos for realizing training programs. It also encourages Vietnamese commercial banks to open representative offices and branches in Laos in order to facilitate trade and investment cooperation activities there.
