The stronger ties between Viet Nam and Russia will not only benefit the two countries but also ensure stability and security in the Asia-Pacific region.

President Putin also spoke highly of Viet Nam’s socio-economic and scientific and technological achievements as well as its prestige in the region and the world.

In addition, he stressed that the current Viet Nam-Russia relations are friendly and constructive.

Both countries set up strategic partnership in 2001 and the bilateral ties have been ceaselessly consolidated and enhanced./.
