Accordingly, they will exchange delegations of national tourism agencies, investors, travel firms and media agencies.

The both sides will coordinate to build and deploy joint tourism cooperation programs between the two countries.

In addition, they will also support each other in issues related to administrative procedures, providing information and organising tourism promotion activities in the two countries.

Earlier, the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), Viet Nam Airlines and several local tour and hotel operators took part in the 2019 Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT), which took place in the Russian capital from March 12 to 14.

In 2018, 600,000 Russian people visited Viet Nam, raking 6th among all countries and territories in terms of visitor numbers.

The number of Russian tourist arrivals in Viet Nam grows by 30% annually on average, with the total number of arrivals expected to reach 1 million by 2020.
