Rural electricity grids to be improved in some Northern provs
VNGOP – Considering the proposals of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), the PM approved the Finland-funded project list for the project "Improving rural electricity grids in the provinces of Hà Tây, Thái Nguyên, Hưng Yên and Phú Thọ". The total ODA preferential loan from the Finnish Government is estimated to be € 6,325,800.

The PM assigned the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) to borrow the loan and be full responsible for effectively using it on purposes. EVN must fulfill all investment procedures in line with current stipulations.
The Ministry of Finance will function as the main implementer and cooperate with the relevant agencies in putting forth the conditions and terms on re-borrowing, which must be submitted to the PM for consideration and approval. The Ministry of Planning and Investment was entrusted to send diplomatic note on the procedures for realizing the project to the Finnish Embassy.
