RoK training vessel begins friendship visit to VN

VGP – Training vessel Badaro (3011 HAM) of the Republic of Korea docked in Tien Sa port in Da Nang City this morning, starting four-day friendship visit to Viet Nam.

Training vessel Badaro of the Republic of Korea arrives at Tien Sa port in Da Nang city on September 4, 2017.

The vessel, led by Lieutenant-Colonel Kim Dong Jin, arrived at the port with 189 officers and crew members.

During the visit, the captain and officers will pay courtesy calls on leaders of the city and Viet Nam Coast Guard Zone 2.

They will also exchange rescue experience with the Vietnamese law enforcement forces.

The visit reflects the good relations between the two countries’ coast guard forces. It is taking place on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two sides.

This is the 2nd time training vessel visits Viet Nam and 5th visit of the Korea Coast Guard./.
