Resolution on combining national defense with economy-society

The combination of national defense and economic–social affairs includes the mixture of national defense activities and implementation of strategies, plans, socio-economic development projects and protection of stable environment for socio-economic development. 

The combination of economy-society and national defence relates to building and reviewing socio-economic development strategies, plans, and projects. 

The new decree stipulates the collection of comments for strategies, plans, and projects on socio-economic development. Accordingly, agencies which are in charge of crafting national, regional, provincial planning projects, urban transport and rural infrastructure projects are required to collect feedback from the Ministry of National Defense. 

Ministries, agencies, and localities have to collect comments of the Ministry of National Defense while building strategies, plans, and projects on socio-economic development. 

On the other hand, the Ministry of National Defense is responsible for participating into councils on planning assessment for national and regional planning. 

In addition, the decree regulates the cooperation in industry, trade, service, agriculture, forestry, fishery, transport, information, telecom, construction, investment, and economic management. 

The Decree shall come into force on February 10, 2019./.
