Regulations on holding int’l conferences in VN
VGP – The PM just ratified Decision 76/2010/QĐ-TTg to set rules on organizing and managing international meetings and conferences in Việt Nam.
The PM, chiefs
of ministries, ministerial-level agencies, governmental bodies,
provincial-level People’s Committees, central bodies of mass organizations have
the competence to license international conferences, seminars, meetings and the
like.
Vietnamese
and foreign organizers of such international events, have to present plans to
the authorities at least 20 days earlier.
The Ministry
of Foreign Affairs (MFA) will function as the focal agency who manage
international meetings and conferences in Việt
