The Government chief tasks provincial and municipal People’s Committees to spur investment attraction activities to IPs. He also asked ten provinces with the lowest rate ofland lease coverage to make periodical reports every six months to the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MoPI) before reporting to the PM.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment was assigned to work with related ministries and agencies to submit a project which amends and supplements IP development schemes for the rest of provinces and cities; supervise and support localities to lure investment and build IPs in accordance with schemes and check the application of regulations on IP investment licensing and establishment.

The PM also orders provincial and municipal People’s Committees to resolve difficulties for IPs; drastically get rid of IPs which operate inefficiently and violate the legal system; examine the implementation of detailed schemes on the environment, land, site clearance, and resettlement.

The provincial and municipal People’s Committees were asked to seriously conduct the PM’s Directive 07/CT-TTg, dated March 2, 2012 on redressing the management and increasing the operation effectiveness of economic zones, industrial parts and industrial complexes.

The Government chief also requested provinces and cities which lack concentrated sewage treatment systems to set up plans and roadmaps on the facility and send them to the MoPI before reporting to the PM./.
